DESIGN FOR LIGHT

One day walking through the streets of Paris, I found a beautiful abandoned solid oak beam. By doing some research I realized that the log found was an old piece of wood from Notre Dame de Paris dating from the 19th century!

Inspired by the history of the piece of wood, I began to cut and listen to the solid oak of extraordinary quality. I begin to carve an animal or human shape, like traces that mark time. Without machines, only by hand I cut the piece using a gouge. I discover an infinitely sinuous imprint that makes me want to be illuminated. The fingerprint lamp collection was born!
